That means you can download and watch movies with your MP4 as well as listen to songs. With the MP3 you can only listen to songs.

In spite of this additional feature, the MP4 player is no heavier than the MP3 player. The MP4 player screens are of varying sized, but if you really want to watch movies with pleasure, it would probably pay to get the largest screen you can find. Some MP4 Players also have OLED characteristics which gives a brighter and clearer picture quality.

Similarly to the MP3, the MP4 players are either flash-based or hard drive. Those that are flash based still have up to 8 GB mp4 player of memory, while the micro-based hard drive ones are bigger up to 100 GB. Both have earphone sockets and speakers inside the case. The headphones that come with them don't often give the best quality sound, so purchase of better quality headphones may be necessary.
